On Friday, March 1st, 2019, hundreds of faithful women from the Armenian Apostolic, Catholic, Evangelical, Nazarene, and Brotherhood Churches gathered at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale for the 49th annual Women’s World Day of Prayer. This year’s theme was “Come, for all things are now ready,” from the Parable of the Great Supper in Luke 14:15-24.

The service featured Gospel readings, Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, meditations, and messages.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, H.G. Bishop Mikael Mouradian, Eparch of the Armenian Catholic Eparchy of the United States and Canada, Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Yerdemian, and Rev. Berj Jambazian, Minister of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America, attended and delivered their message.
The Prelate prayed for the Lord to lead us according to His will and make us worthy to be inviters and invitees for His great feast, His kingdom, and citing from the text of the Divine Liturgy thanked the Lord for having fed us from His everlasting table and for sacrificing His body and blood for the salvation of the world and our souls.
