On Sunday, March 1, 2020, the annual gala of the Armenian Cultural Foundation was held at the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, attended and delivered the invocation. Alongside the official guests in attendance were H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Vicar General, Executive Council Chair Garo Eshgian and members.
This year, the ACF honored the Prelate, community activists and benefactors Hovsep and Elizabeth Boyajian, and Varant and Hoori Melkonian.
The program began with welcoming remarks by Mirna Kassamanian and Aram Manoukian, which was followed by the national anthems sung by Rose and Alex Pilibos School students.
In his invocation, the Prelate lauded the ACF’s tireless efforts in the advancement of our cause and the pursuit of our national dreams and aspirations. He blessed and commended the members of the ACF for their diligent service and the evening’s honorees for their contributions to our Prelacy Churches, schools, and community organizations.
Armen Hovannisian, Esq. served as the evening’s MC. The ARF Western USA Central Committee’s message was delivered by Co-Chair Dr. Carmen Ohanian, and the ACF’s by Chair Avedik Izmirlian,
