On Wednesday, May 17, an Award and Appreciation Dinner organized by the Armenian National Committee of America Glendale Chapter was held at Impressions Banquet Hall in Glendale. This year, the organization honored the following for their contributions to the Armenian Cause and to society in general: Alice Petrossian (Lifetime Achievement Award), John Bandek (Youth Activist Award), Naz Atikian (Golden Heart Award), Susan Hunt (Community Service Award), Zareh Issakhanian (Hye Tahd Award), and Glendale Adventist Medical Center (Maria Jacobsen Humanitarian Award).
The Prelate attended and conveyed his blessings and message to the organization and honorees. His Eminence commended the members of the ANCA Glendale Chapter for their tireless work and wished them continued successes in their important mission. He commended also the honorees for their individual service for the benefit of the collective and hoped that they inspire others to take action in their example.
