Ari Guiragos Minassian School Students Visit the Prelacy

On Thursday, May 23, 2019, 5th and 6th grade students of Ari Guiragos Minassian School of Orange County paid a visit to the Prelacy.

The students and accompanying teachers first gathered at “St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen” Chapel for a brief prayer service led by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, who was joined by Rev. Fr. Karekin Bedourian.

The visit continued at “Dikran and Zarouhie Der Ghazarian” Hall where the students presented a program of nationalistic songs with music teacher Arick Gevorkian accompanying on the piano.

The Prelate delivered his message joyfully welcoming the students who would then go on to Vahan and Anoush Chamlian School for a joint celebration of the 101st anniversary of the first Republic of Armenia. His Eminence noted that Ari Guiragos Minassian School has a special place in his heart as he taught there for many years over three decades ago and is pleased to see the School’s achievements. He exhorted the youth to be good and bright students and to give back to the School where they receive not only education but valuable Armenian instruction. The Prelate blessed the students, teachers, and administration and concluded by congratulating the graduating class.

The visit concluded with the benediction and Cilicia. The students received crosses at their departure.
