On Thursday, November 28, 2019, Thanksgiving Day, the 22nd annual Armenia Fund Telethon will be broadcast from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. PST, with the first four hours live from Yerevan.
Proceeds from the telethon, which carries the slogan “To My Beloved Armenia,” will benefit the installation of solar power systems and the construction of drinking water and irrigation networks in Artsakh and three regions of Armenia, Lori, Tavush, and Shirak. These projects will improve the lives of our compatriots by providing a regular and clean water supply, free heating and electricity, as well as boost agricultural capacity, create jobs, and contribute to energy independence.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and the Executive Council this year again urge our faithful to contribute generously to this vital cause to help improve the lives of our brothers and sisters in our twin republics. The Prelate’s appeal for support will air during the telethon, while members of our community and Prelacy Schools’ students will appear live to present their donations.
