“As a community project, the realization of the Armenian-American Museum necessitates teamwork, the collaboration of our legislators, the hard work of the organization’s members, and the support of the people. Thus far, we have been fortunate to have this support from all, from our Governor, state officials, local officials from the city of Glendale, and from our sponsors. In particular, today we applaud the efforts of the honorable Senator Anthony Portantino who has been one of our staunchest supporters and has spearheaded much-needed funding,” stated the Prelate, who also thanked the founders’ circle members for their generous support.

Senator Anthony Portantino was honored for his staunch support and leading efforts. Executive Committee Chair Mr. Berdj Karapetian and architect Mr. Aram Alajajian provided an update on the project. Governing Board Co-Chairs H.E. Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and H.G. Bishop Mikayel Mouradian delivered their remarks via video message, and closing remarks were conveyed by Co-Chair Rev.
