On Wednesday, October 27, 2022, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, welcomed the visit of Armenian director Mr. Jivan Avedissian to the Prelacy. For the second year, the director is in Los Angeles to promote his “Gate to Heaven” movie, which depicts a story from the 4-day war in Artsakh.
Mr. Avedissian formally invited the Prelate to attend the screening, which will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Americana AMC Theater in Glendale.
During the meeting, Bishop Donoyan highly commended the director for the good representation of the existential issues of the Armenian nation and the homeland through the film, and on this occasion he will call on the Armenians of the community to be present at the screenings and to encourage the director in his endeavors.
