On the morning of Friday, August 21, 2015, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, visited Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Pre-School in Pasadena where a ceremony was held for the start of the new academic year. The Prelate was accompanied by St. Sarkis Church Pastor Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan. Participating in the ceremony were parish delegates, Board of Trustees and Ladies Guild members, representatives of the school board and ARS “Sossy” Chapter, and parents.
Director Mrs. Helen Manoucherian delivered opening remarks welcoming the Prelate and guests, after which the students recited the Lord’s Prayer.

The Prelate commended the dedicated service of the school administrators and teachers, wished for a successful school year, and conveyed his blessings to all. The students also presented recitations.
His Eminence then visited classrooms where he once again blessed the young students and answered their questions. A reception hosted by the administration followed.
