On Tuesday, December 15, 2015, representatives of the recently appointed Board of Regents paid a visit to the Prelacy to receive the blessings and guidance of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and the Executive Council at the commencement of their new responsibilities. The delegation was headed by Board of Regents Chair Mrs. Lisa Gaboudian, and included Dr. Houri Arslanian-Keuroghlian, Dr. Hasmig Baran, and Mrs. Lena Kortoshian.
Following welcoming remarks and introductions, the guests reported on their current and upcoming projects aimed at advancing the educational mission of Prelacy Schools. The Board is meeting and working together with Principals to that end and is also organizing an annual Professional Development Day in January at CSUN for teachers to keep current on the latest educational trends.
The Prelate and Council wished the Board of Regents and Prelacy Schools success in their worthy mission and affirmed their support and collaboration for the successful realization of that mission.
