On Monday, November 23, 2015, the presentation of Gailag’s latest book, “The Golden Rule,” was held at the Pasadena Armenian Center under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and organized by Hamazkayin Western Region Executive. The newly published Armenian language book of poems is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The program included remarks, recitations, dance, and music, and “kinetson,” blessing of the book with wine, and concluded with the Prelate’s message. His Eminence congratulated Gailag on the realization of his latest book, commended the love and faith that is expressed in his writings, and also commended Hamazkayin and the cultural program participants. As the book is dedicated to our martyrs on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Prelate applauded the number of works dedicated to our church, families, and nation, and concluded by wishing for the poet to continue to hone his God-given talent and offer more writings for the enjoyment of readers.
