Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Northern American Prelacy and 45th Anniversary of the Western Prelacy in San Francisco – Episcopal Divine Liturgy and Ordination of Acolytes at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church

On Friday, October 12, 2018, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will travel to San Francisco to preside over a special celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the Northern American Prelacy and 45th anniversary of the Western Prelacy. The celebration is organized by the Parish Pastor and Board of Trustees of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church, and will take place at Saroyan Hall of the Khachaturian Armenian Community Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. The keynote speaker is Deacon Mark Shirin. The program will start with a service dedicated to the Holy Translators. Krouzian-Zekarian-Vasbouragan School students will participate in the cultural program.

On this occasion, a fundraising reception will be held on Saturday evening hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Hagop and Suzy Kouyoumjian at their residence, presided by the Prelate and organized by the Parish Pastor, Board of Trustees, and Ladies Guild of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church.

By the invitation of the Parish Pastor and Board of Trustees, on Sunday, October 14, the Prelate will celebrate Divine Liturgy, conduct the ordination of acolytes, and deliver the sermon at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church.
