On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the Western Prelacy Schools opened their doors, welcoming the new academic year 2022-2023 and welcomed the students and their parents, who believe in the unified mission of forming a whole student; spiritually and culturally, so that they would become leaders and active members in our communities and nation.
On this occasion, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, presided over the Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian School commencement and relayed his heartfelt wishes to the students, beseeching God that the new academic year 2022-2023 will be smooth, healthy and successful for the students of all Armenian schools, full of unforgettable and sweet memories.
During his speech, Bishop Donoyan praised the Ferrahian school family; principal, staff, students and parents, noting that Ferrahian school is an inseparable part of Holy Martyrs Church. The Prelate added; “This national and educational institution is currently entering a new stage of expansion and reorganization, modernization. He wished upon the staff and workers further strength, zeal and patience to uninterruptedly achieve all the successes in the coming year.”
In conclusion, the Bishop praised all those parents who not only trust their children in the Prelacy Schools, but alongside their presence and support, bring a significant contribution to the flourishing of community life in general and to the closer and more efficient connection between church and school in particular, and beseeched the Lord to grant His protection upon Armenian schools and the entire Armenian community in Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora.
