Sunday, May 3, 2020, is the third Sunday after Easter, which is called Red Sunday.
At 11:00 a.m., Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Garabed Church in Hollywood, presided by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and with the participation of clergy members. Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon.
The service will be live streamed on the Prelacy’s Facebook page at the following link: www.facebook.com/WesternPrelacy/
As the previous Sunday, at the conclusion of Divine Liturgy at St. Garabed Church, “Der Voghormya” and requiem service will be conducted in each of our parishes and live streamed on the Facebook page of each individual Church. Once again, parishioners may contact their local parish pastors or Church offices ahead of time (via telephone or online) with “Der Voghormya” requests or to submit the names of departed loves ones for requiem service.
We are pleased to announce that as of Sunday, May 10, Divine Liturgy will resume in all Churches, however again without the presence of faithful until these restrictions are lifted by government officials. Divine Liturgy will be live streamed on the Facebook page of each Church.
We continue to hope for a positive change in the situation and a return to normalcy soon.
