On the morning of Wednesday, April 3, Easter services were held at Ararat Home in Mission Hills, presided over by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and with the participation of clergy members.
The Prelate and clergy members first visited the nursing facility where the service began with the Prelate conveying his Easter well-wishes to the residents. The prayer service followed, during which Easter hymns were sung and the Prelate blessed bread, salt, and water. The service concluded with clergy members offering Holy Communion to the residents.
Divine Liturgy was then celebrated at the Chapel by Rev. Fr. Khoren Babochian who also delivered the sermon.
A service in the assisted living dining room followed, during which the Prelate conducted the blessing of the home service and blessed bread, salt, and water.
A luncheon hosted by the Board of Directors followed.
The Prelate and clergy then visited patient rooms and presented the residents with color illustrated copies of the Lord’s Prayer.
