On Sunday, September 16, 2018, the Armenian Church will celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which is also the name-day of Holy Cross Cathedral in Montebello.
On this occasion, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Cross Cathedral. During the service, the Prelate will ordain the Cathedral’s choirmaster, Norayr Tertsagian, as a deacon.
At the conclusion of Divine Liturgy, the Prelate will conduct the blessing of madagh at “Bagramian” Hall, which will be followed by a luncheon hosted by the parish Ladies Aid.
H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Vicar General, will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Trinity Church in Fresno.
