On the evening of Wednesday, April 12, the much-anticipated Hollywood premier of the film The Promise was held at TCL Chinese Theatre, with the participation of the film’s director, producers, cast, crew, celebrities, and Armenian-American community activities. The Prelate attended the premier, accompanied by Executive Council member Dr. Kaloust Agopian.
Prior to the screening, remarks were delivered by Co-Producer Dr. Eric Esrailian and Director Terry George, who introduced and thanked the cast and crew for their hard work.
The Prelate once again urges our community to fill theatres on opening weekend especially (April 21-23), and encourage non-Armenian friends and colleagues to join them in supporting this vitally important film which brings widespread awareness of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire.
