On Saturday, October 12, 2019, the Armenian Church will celebrate the feast of the Holy Translators.

Every two years, clergy from the three North American Prelacies gather for a joint conference dedicated to this feast, which this year will take place from October 8-11 at Holy Cross Cathedral in Montebello. The conference will be presided by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate of the Western U.S., H.E. Archbishop Anoushavan Tanielian, Prelate of the Eastern U.S., and H.E. Archbishop Papken Tcharian, is organized by the Western Prelacy Religious Council and hosted by the Cathedral’s Dean, Pastor, and Board of Trustees.

The conference will feature church services, spiritual meditations, lectures, discussions on the reorganization of Prelacies and other matters, future collaborative endeavors, and visits to Mesrobian and Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Schools.

On Thursday, October 10, the public is invited to Divine Liturgy at St. Garabed Church in Hollywood (1614 N. Alexandria Ave., Los Angeles), presided by the Prelates of the Western and Eastern Prelacies. The Prelate of Canada will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon. We invite our faithful to attend and honor the contributions and legacy of our Holy Translators.
