L.A. County Board of Supervisors Honors Community Activist Berdj Karapetian

On Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019, L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger introduced her annual motion declaring the month of April as Armenian History Month. Throughout the month, the Board of Supervisors honored noteworthy Armenian-Americans who have made significant contributions to our communities.

By the nomination of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and the Executive Council, community activist Berj Karapetian was honored by the Board of Supervisors at their April 16 weekly meeting.

Mr. Karapetian has served the community for decades, most notably as Armenian American Museum Executive Committee Chairman, ANCA-Western Region Board of Directors member, ANCA Glendale chapter Chairman, and member of a number of other Armenian and community organizations.
