On Tuesday, May 29, 2014, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, presided over the first meeting of the new Religious Council elected on May 17th at the 42nd Representatives Assembly.
During this first meeting, the Council elected its officers as follows:
Very Rev. Fr. Muron Aznikian Chair
Archpriest Fr. Vicken Vassilian Vice-Chair
Rev. Fr. Karekin Bedourian Secretary
Rev. Fr. Vazken Atmajian Advisor
Rev. Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian Advisor
Rev. Fr. Ardak Demirjian Advisor
Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan Advisor
During this first meeting, Council members reviewed suggestions and proposals presented at the Representatives Assembly.
Following the new Executive Council’s election of officers, a joint meeting will be held with the two Councils to set in motion plans offered at the Assembly.
