Opening Ceremony of Homenetmen Centennial “Elevate” Exhibition at Glendale Central Library

In celebration of Homenetmen’s centennial, the Western Region Executive has organized a number of community events, among them an exhibition titled “Elevate” which opened at Glendale Central Library on Friday, September14, 2018 honoring the organization’s past, present, and future contributions to the community. Following the invocation by H.E. Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, and the Prelate, His Eminence delivered his message lauding Homenetmen as an exemplary organization for Armenians worldwide which is dedicated to the intellectual, physical, spiritual, and cultural development of our youth. Referencing the centennial’s motto, “From an honorable past to a victorious future,” the Prelate stated that Homenetmen indeed has an honorable past, a century of preparing our youth to become responsible and productive Armenians and members of society, and owing to this mission we can be sure that we are all headed for a victorious future.
