On Saturday, June 27, 2015, the 8th annual “Orthodox Day of Praise” was held at St. Peter and St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church in Santa Monica. The day began with Divine Liturgy, followed by a meet and greet and fellowship brunch. The program followed, during which choirs from various Orthodox Churches presented hymns in their respective languages. Participants included the Armenian, Coptic, Syriac, Ethiopian, Indian, Russian and other Orthodox Churches.
By the ordinance of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, the Western Prelacy “Lousavorich” Choir, led by Rev. Fr. Ghevont Kirazian, once again participated in this annual tradition. The Choir presented “Christ is revealed among us,” “Lord have mercy,” and “Cilicia.”
