By the invitation of Ararat Home Board of Trustees Chair Joseph Kanimian, on Thursday, August 22, 2019, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, attended the Board’s monthly meeting.
The Prelate first participated in the meeting of the Board’s officers, after which he joined in a dinner reception with the trustees.
The general meeting followed. Joining the Chair and trustees were Chief Operating Officer Derik Ghookasian, Nursing Facility Executive Director Margarita Kechichian, and the new administrator of Ararat Convalescent Hospital in Eagle Rock Christine Karapetian.
His Eminence delivered the invocation.

Mr. Kanimian welcomed the Prelate, introduced Ms. Christine Karapetian, and on behalf of all thanked him for his decades-long support, regular visits, and care for the residents.
The Prelate conveyed his blessings and commendation to all for their devoted service and compassionate care of our elders, noting that he has been closely following the endeavors of Ararat Home since he began his service within the Western Prelacy in 1982. He thanked the Chairman for the invitation, congratulated Ms. Karapetian on her new position and wished all continued success in their worthwhile mission.
