On Friday, November 22, 2019, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, traveled to Fresno to deliver the invocation and message at a special event called the
“Ag One Community Salute” organized by the Ag One Foundation of the California State University of Fresno.
The event is held biennially to raise funds benefitting agricultural programs and students at CSUF and to honor individuals or families in agriculture that have been a positive influence in the community. This year’s honorees were the Parnagian family, brothers Dennis, Ken, Randy, and Philip, their uncle Pete and cousin Jim, who are longtime members and sponsors of Holy Trinity Church and the Western Prelacy.
The Prelate first delivered the invocation thanking the Lord for the blessing of the day and beseeching His wisdom, guidance, and strength in our daily endeavors as we strive to fulfill our duties and responsibilities to society. Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, he praised the Lord for His abundant blessings and grace and implored His continued guidance in all aspects of our lives.
The Prelate then greeted and blessed the dedicated members of the AG One Foundation and the generous donors who work hand in hand and heart to heart to provide invaluable resources to generations of students. He conveyed his blessings and commendation in particular to the evening’s honorees for their tremendous service and contributions to the local community and to the agricultural industry nationwide, stating, “To me, and to many I’m sure, the name Parnagian is synonymous with kindness, generosity of spirit, humility, work ethic, community, family values, and loving service to others. They are exemplary individuals in their professional and personal lives alike and are truly deserving of this recognition.”
Dennis Parnagian delivered remarks on behalf of the Parnagian family.
