On the evening of Saturday, June 13, 2015, the Armenian Bar Association celebrated 25 years of service with a Silver Anniversary Gala held at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The program included an awards’ presentation; Professor Richard Hovannisian received the Hrant Dink Freedom Award, Garo Ghazarian, Esq. received the Community Service Award, and the late Robert Kardashian was posthumously honored with the Family Heritage Award.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, attended the gala and delivered the invocation, in which he commended the valuable service and contributions of the Armenian Bar Association to our society locally and in Armenia, and wished continued successes to all Armenian-American attorneys in their great responsibilities as advocates and guardians of the rule of law. The Prelate conveyed his blessings to the evening’s honorees, commending Prof. Hovannisian for his exemplary life of service to the preservation and promotion of our language, history, culture, and cause, and Garo Ghazarian for his capable leadership within our community.
