On Friday, June 29, 2018, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed the visit of Armenia Fund President Mrs. Maria Mehranian and Executive Director Mr. Sarkis Kotanjian.
The Prelate and guests discussed a number of issues, including recent developments in Armenia, the general endeavors of Armenia Fund, in particular the “Our Gyumri” Telethon which will be held on Sunday, July 1st, as well as the Thanksgiving Day Telethon. The “Our Gyumri” Telethon will raise funds to provide new and fully furnished apartments to hundreds of families in Gyumri who are still homeless following the devastating earthquake thirty years ago.
The Prelate commended Armenia Fund’s commitment to bettering the lives of our brethren in Armenia and Artsakh, and wished for a successful Telethon.
The Telethon will air from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. on ARTN, US Armenia, KVMD, and AABC. The Prelate’s taped message will air during the Telethon.
