Last week H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, met with Glendale city officials at City Hall in preparation for the visit of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. Archpriest Fr. Vazken Atmajian accompanied His Eminence.
During his meeting with Fire Chief – Greg Fish, Battalion Chief – Vincent Rifino, Deputy Chief of Police – Carl Povilaitis, Adjutant – Sergeant Robert William, Director of Communications and Community Relations – Thomas Lorenz, Assistant City Manager – Yasmin Beers, and Community Relations Coordinator – Dan Bell, the Prelate relayed details of the events, two of which, the meeting with youth on Friday, September 30 and the 20th anniversary celebration on Saturday, October 1st, will be held in Glendale. The city officials thanked the Prelate for the information and affirmed their readiness to facilitate the visit of His Holiness.
At the conclusion of the meeting the Prelate presented mementos to the officials.
