Prelate Oversees Final Renovation Projects at St. Garabed Church and Cultural Center of Las Vegas


On Wednesday, July 9, 2014, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, departed for Las Vegas to meet with St. Garabed Church Parish Pastor Rev. Fr. Arsen Kassabian and Parish Council members regarding final renovation projects at St. Garabed Church and Cultural Center.

The Prelate had his first meeting with the Pastor and Parish Council on Wednesday evening at the newly purchased rectory, for which he conducted the home blessing service. During the ensuing meeting the Prelate and parish representatives reviewed the construction progress of the Cultural Center and “Apraham and Verjine Koujakian” Hall, the grand re-opening of which will take place on October 18 – 19, 2014.

On Thursday, accompanied by the Pastor and Parish Council members, the Prelate visited the construction site at the Cultural Center to become better familiarized with the various phases of the project. His Eminence commended the work of construction committee members and wished for the completion of the project in a timely and efficient manner.
