H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, has returned from Lebanon after participating in Central Committee meetings at the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in Antelias, presided by His Holiness Aram I.
The meetings of the Religious Council, Lay Council, and joint sessions were held from February 9-11, 2016. Central Committee members Mr. Khajag Dikijian and Mr. Vahe Yacoubian, and Executive Council Vice-Chair Dr. Dikran Babikian joined the Prelate in the meetings.
Items on the agenda included a review of Centennial activities, the New Cilicia village sponsored by the Catholicosate in Artsakh, the lawsuit for the Sis Catholicosate, Antelias-Etchmiadzin collaboration, the situation of the Armenian community in Syria, and general issues concerning the various Prelacies.
