During the 10th Religious Assembly convened on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, promoted a new initiative relating to the deacons and stole-bearers of the Western Prelacy. The Prelate appointed Rev. Fr. Movses Shannakian to lead this new program and Deacons Jack Naljian, Suren Hazarian, Yervant Keshishian and Toukhman Khatchadourian as members of the organizing committee.
On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, the Prelate welcomed Rev. Movses Shannakian and the members of the organizing committee to the Western Prelacy, and delivered his remarks and support towards their future activities.
It is the responsibility of this group to organize deaconate church services, lectures, and assemblies on a variety of occasions, during which deacons and stole-bearers from the Western Prelacy churches will have the opportunity to come together and share experiences.
