Prelate to Participate in Ecumenical Prayer Service at the U.S. Capitol

By the invitation of In Defense of Christians, on Monday, July 15, 2019, Christian leaders from the Middle East and American faith leaders will gather at the U.S. Capitol for a nonpartisan prayer for Christians in the Middle East who continue to suffer persecution and prejudice.

The service, titled “The Early Christian Church: An Ecumenical Prayer in the Languages of the Middle East,” will feature prayers in Arabic, Aramaic, Armenian, Coptic, Greek, and more.

H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will take part in the service. By the coordination of the ANCA, His Eminence will meet with governmental and community leaders the following day.
