On Sunday, June 9, 2019, the Armenian Apostolic Church will commemorate the feast of Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Sarkis Church in Pasadena.
By the request of the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry and the directive of the Prelate, on this day prayers will be offered in all Prelacy Churches for the health of the ABMDR’s patients and strength to the members.
Members of the organization will attend Divine Liturgy at St. Sarkis Church and will be available to provide information and register donors.
Following the service, the Prelate will attend the Father’s Day luncheon hosted by the Parish Pastor and Board of Trustees at “Hovhannes and Hripsime Jivalagian Youth Center.”
H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Vicar General, will preside over Divine Liturgy at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino.
