According to the Armenian Apostolic Church calendar, Tuesday, December 24, 2019, is the feast of St. Stephen the proto-deacon and first martyr, which is also a celebration of deacons and altar servers. The feast will be observed in Prelacy Churches on Sunday, December 22nd.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Sarkis Church in Pasadena, deliver his sermon on the legacy of St. Stephen, and convey his blessings to the altar servers.
H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Vicar General, will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale.
