On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, visited Krouzian-Zekarian-Vasbouragan School in San Francisco to convey his blessings and well wishes to the administration, faculty, and students for a fruitful school year. His Eminence was accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Khoren Habeshian, Pastor of St. Gregorgy Church, and Deacon Sevag Badoyan.

The Prelate was greeted at the school entrance by Principal Grace Andonian and faculty members, and was escorted to the Kindergarten area where the students welcomed His Eminence with prayers. The Prelate conveyed his blessings to the young students, and then headed to the auditorium where the students presented a cultural program dedicated to the Feast of the Holy Translators.
The Principal delivered welcoming remarks in which she gave an overview of the school’s latest endeavors. Fr. Khoren delivered his remarks then invited the Prelate to convey his message.
The Prelate commended the students for their program honoring the legacy of our holy translators, stating that today we have Armenian schools, Armenian students, our homeland and unique heritage thanks to the work carried out by our translator forefathers, who forged our national identity. Thus, he urged the students to familiarize themselves with our rich heritage and to honor the life and legacy of our holy translators by preserving our language and doing their part to enrich our culture.
