Each year on the eve of Thanksgiving, the administration of Richard Tufenkian School organizes a Thanksgiving themed gathering, which this year was held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
On this occasion, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, visited the School accompanied by Rev. Fr. Vazken Atmajian, and was hosted to a Thanksgiving lunch by School Director Arsineh Aghazarian, faculty, and students.

School benefactor Mrs. Savey Tufenkian and School Board members were also in attendance.
During the luncheon the students sang songs, after which His Eminence led prayers of thanksgiving to God for all the blessings in our lives. After lunch, the Prelate visited the students in their classrooms and spoke to them about the meaning of Thanksgiving. To the Prelate’s question of what they consider gifts and blessings in their lives, the students responded that they thank God for their parents, siblings, homes, school, teachers, and friends, and said that they hope to be a gift and blessing to others when they grow up.
