On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 28, 2015, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed the visit of ARF Zavarian Gomideh representative Mr. Khatchig Havatian and Crescenta Valley Church Board of Trustees Chairman Mr. Dikran Der Sarkissian.
Mr. Havatian gave a general overview of the endeavors planned by the newly elected Gomideh. A discussion ensued on the goal of the Crescenta Valley Church to have its own sanctuary, for which Mr. Havatian affirmed the Gomideh’s support. Also discussed were the needs of the local community and the collaborative efforts of community leaders and members to meet those needs.
The Prelate wished Mr. Havatian and his colleagues success in their mission and affirmed the Prelacy’s support of all volunteers working for the benefit of the Armenian community.
