On the afternoon of Thursday, October 29, 2015, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed Montebello Mayor Jack Hadjnian, who had come to the Prelacy to receive the Prelate’s blessings ahead of the City Council election on November 3rd.
Alongside his responsibilities as Mayor, Mr. Hadjinian serves our community as a Delegate of the Prelacy Representatives Assembly. He has previously served on the Board of Trustees of Holy Cross Cathedral and as an alumnus of Mesrobian School, lends his support to the School’s endeavors. During their meeting, Mr. Hadjinian assured the Prelate that he will continue to serve for the progress of the Montebello Armenian community.
The Prelate commended Mr. Hadjinian’s dedicated service and wished him well in the upcoming elections. He also wished success for Mr. Ashod Mouradian, a member of Holy Cross Board of Trustees, who Mr. Hadjinian noted is running for City Treasurer.
