Prelate Welcomes New Consul General of Lebanon

The Prelate, who had sent the new Consul General a congratulatory letter upon her appointment, welcomed Mrs. Khawly on her first visit to the Prelacy and once again conveyed his blessings and congratulations. He gave an overview of the Prelacy’s endeavors and highlighted the close ties and collaborative efforts with the Consulate General of Lebanon, expressing confidence that the relationship will continue during her tenure.

Mrs. Khawly thanked the Prelate for the warm welcome and well wishes, spoke highly of the Armenian community in Los Angeles and reaffirmed the continuation of the close ties between the two communities. Also discussed was the upcoming Lebanese parliamentary election in May and the participation of Diaspora voters.

The Prelate wished the new Consul General success in her new mission and presented a memento.
