On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, thousands of Armenians and allies gathered in front of the Azerbaijani Consulate in Los Angeles for a protest organized by the AYF to condemn recent attacks against Armenia and ongoing aggression by Azerbaijan. The program featured remarks by ANCA national Chairman Raffi Hamparian and AYF representatives.
On behalf of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, Rev. Fr. Ghevont Kirazian attended the protest.
As articulated during Divine Liturgy on Sunday, July 19, the Prelate once again expresses his solidarity to the Armenian army stating, “We pray for the safety of our heroic soldiers defending our sacred lands and for peace and stability for our brothers and sisters in our homeland. We commend our youth for always heeding the call of patriotism and raising their voice as advocates for peace and justice with the vision of a free, independent, and united homeland.
