On Monday, June 17, the community gathered at the Montage Beverly Hills for a night of appreciation honoring His Excellency Tatoul Markarian, outgoing Ambassador of Armenia to the U.S.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, delivered the invocation and conveyed his well wishes to the Ambassador. Community Leaders, Prelacy Executive Council members, Ladies Auxiliary members, and parishes’ representatives were also in attendance.
His Eminence commended Ambassador Markarian’s distinguished leadership and dignified representation of our homeland during his nearly decade-long tenure, thanked him for serving with dedication, humility, and in the spirit of collaboration and goodwill, and wished him and his family good health and prosperity in their future endeavors. In conclusion, the Prelate beseeched God to safeguard and keep in peace the Armenian homeland and nation and to guide our leadership to serve for the welfare of our lands and people with honesty and integrity.
