Requiem and Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers in Artsakh

On Friday, November 13, 2020, The president of Armenia Hon. Armen Sargsyan spoke with both Catholicoses H.H. Aram I. and H.H. Karekin II., and together they came to a conclusion to celebrate a memorial day on November 22, 2020, for the fallen soldiers during the war in Artsakh.

Stemming from this decision, under the auspices of H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, on Sunday November 22, 2020, all the Prelacy Churches will hold a special requiem service for the souls of the fallen soldiers during the war in Artsakh, and “Lord have mercy” will be sung for the safety of Armenia and Artsakh.

The Prelate will preside over the Divine Liturgy and deliver his sermon at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale. Our faithful parishioners can view the live stream of the Divine Liturgy on the Western Prelacy Facebook page.
