On Saturday, November 10, 2018, the annual banquet of St. Sarkis Church of Pasadena was held at the Pasadena Armenian Center under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate. The event was organized by Parish Pastor, Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan, and the Board of Trustees. On behalf of the Prelate, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan attended and conveyed the blessings of His Eminence. Executive Council member Mr. Avo Kechichian, representatives of the ARF “Lernavayr” Gomideh and sister organizations, sponsors, and friends were in attendance.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Board of Trustees Chairman Mr. Koko Panossian, who also served as Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Panossian briefly spoke of the Board’s endeavors and introducted the evening’s main sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Hratch and Lena Koulajian.
Fr. Boghos Baltayan delivered the invocation. The Vicar General conveyed the greetings and well wishes of the Prelate, after which he commended the Parish Pastor, Board of Trustees, and Ladies Guild for their service and congratulated the parish which this year celebrates the 33rd anniversary of its establishment and 13th anniversary of consecration.
