On Friday, March 25, 2022, California State Senator Anthony Portantino paid a visit to the Western Prelacy and held a special meeting with H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate.
During the meeting, the Prelate praised the dedicated service and the activities of Senator Portantino towards our community, highlighting the pro-Armenian stance that he holds, especially on the American political stage.
Mr. Portantino, in turn, thanked the Prelate for the meeting and offered his support for the prosperity of the Tavlian Pre-school in Pasadena, while expressing readiness to assist in the endeavors of the Western Prelacy.
Mr. Portantino was accompanied by his District Representative Ms. Arda Tchakian.
