Tavlian Pre-School Students Visit the Prelacy


On Tuesday, March 15, 2016, young students of Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Pre-School enlivened the Prelacy with their visit and accompanying program of songs and recitations. Upon their arrival, the students, Director Helen Manoucherian, teachers, and a group of parents gathered at the “St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen” Chapel for a prayer service led by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, who was joined by Archpriest Fr. Nareg Pehlivanian, Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan, and Rev. Fr. Ghevont Kirazian.

Afterward, at the “Dikran and Zarouhie Der Ghazarian” Hall the students presented a spirited program heralding the near of Easter and spring and expressing their love for their homeland and mother tongue.

The Prelate blessed and commended the students for their lovely program and spoke to them about Easter traditions. The visit continued at the “Sulahian” Reception Hall, where the students were the guests of the Prelate. During the ensuing friendly exchange, the students spoke to the Prelate about what they want to be when they grow up, promising first and foremost to be good Christians and Armenians. At the conclusion of the visit the Prelate presented mementos to the students, teachers, and parents.
