Tavlian Students Visits the Prelacy

On Tuesday, March 24, 2015, Preschool and Kindergarten students from Levon and Hasmig Tavlian School visited the Prelacy where the young students had a warm interaction with H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate. Archpriest Fr. Nareg Pehlivanian and Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan joined in the visit.

Accompanied by Director Helen Manoucherian, teachers, and parents, the students gathered at the “St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen” Chapel for a brief prayer service, after which they headed to “Dikran and Zarouhie Der Ghazarian” Hall where they presented a cultural program for the Prelate and clergy. Accompanied by music teacher Mrs. Suzy Pashaian on the piano, the students sang the Armenian national anthem and presented songs and recitations dedicated to our homeland and Easter.

The students then assembled at “Sulahian” Reception Hall where they had a pleasant meeting with the Prelate as his young guests. His Eminence spoke to the students about being good, studious, and well-behaved Armenian children and reminded them to always be thankful to their parents, teachers, and to God for all His blessings. The young students confidently answered the Prelate’s questions about Holy Week and Easter and asked him questions about various topics. In conclusion, the Prelate commended the students for their beautiful program and the administrators for their dedication to our youth, and conveyed his Easter blessings and well wishes to all. The students were also given a tour and familiarized with the mission of the Prelacy.
