PRELATE TO CELEBRATE DIVINE LITURGY AT THE NORTH HOLLYWOOD PARISH ON NEW SUNDAY
Sunday, April 3, 2016 is the first Sunday after Easter, which is known as New Sunday or Second Easter. Per tradition, on this day H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at the Armenian Apostolic Church of North Hollywood. The church is located at 13050 Vanowen St. in North Hollywood (St. Paul Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church). The service begins at 2:00 p.m.

L.A. CITY COUNCIL COMMEMORATES 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF MUSA LER
On Tuesday, March 29, the 100th anniversary of the heroic battle of Musa Ler was commemorated at Los Angeles City Hall with a special event sponsored by Councilmember Paul Krekorian. The program included the presentation of a proclamation to the Mousa Ler Association on behalf of Mayor Eric Garcetti and Council members.
Archpriest Fr. Nareg Pehlivanian and Deacon Khatchig Shannakian attended on behalf of the Prelate.
