41ST PRELACY REPRESENTATIVES ASSEMBLY
The Prelacy 41st Representatives Assembly will convene on the afternoon of Friday, April 19, 2013, and conclude on the afternoon of Saturday, April 20. This year’s Assembly is being hosted by the Fresno parish at Holy Trinity Church.
The Assembly will review the annual activities report of the Prelate and Councils, and draft future endeavors relating our churches, schools, and committees serving under the Prelacy.

PRELATE TO DELIVER INVOCATION AT CALIFORNIA STATE SENATE GENOCIDE COMMEMORATION
Each year in April, activists from across California join the Armenian National Committee – Western Region and the California State Legislature to commemorate the Armenian Genocide at the State Capitol. This year’s Advocacy Day will be held on Monday, April 15.
The day will begin with activists visiting offices of legislators to advocate issues of interest to the Armenian-American community. The 98th anniversary of the Genocide will be commemorated in the afternoon in the State Senate Chambers, where the Prelate will lead the opening prayer.
A reception will follow hosted by California Assembly Members Katcho Achadjian, Adrin Nazarian, and State Senator Kevin de Leon.

PRELATE WELCOMES PROFESSOR HANS-JUERGEN FEULNER
On Tuesday, April 9, the Prelate welcomed Professor Hans-Juergen Feulner of the Institute for Liturgical Studies at the University of Vienna. The Professor, a long-time friend of the Catholicosate and our Prelacy, is currently in Los Angeles on his annual visit to the region.
During the visit, the Prelate and Prof. Feulner briefed one another on their recent activities and undertakings. At the conclusion of the meeting the Professor asked the Prelate to convey his respects to H.H. Catholicos Aram I.
