PRELATE TO CELEBRATE EASTER DIVINE LITURGY AT HOLY MARTYRS CHURCH IN ENCINO
On Sunday, April 5, 2015, we will celebrate Easter, the most significant day of the Christian calendar. The feast of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will be ceremoniously celebrated in all Prelacy churches and parishes with joyful proclamations of “Christ is Risen from the dead, blessed is the Resurrection of Christ.”
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver his Easter message at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino. Rev. Fr. Boghos Tinkjian will celebrate Easter Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Mary’s Church in Glendale.
On Saturday, April 4, the Prelate will celebrate Easter Eve Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Forty Martyrs Church in Orange County. After the service, His Eminence will preside over the opening of the newly renovated Armenian Martyrs Monument and will attend the ensuing commemorative program and traditional Easter Eve dinner. Fr. Boghos will celebrate Easter Eve Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Sarkis Church in Pasadena.
On Monday, April 6, Easter Memorial Day requiem services will be held at Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn “Hall of Liberty” and Glendale Forest Lawn “Church of the Recessional”, presided over by the Prelate and with the participation of clergy.
