PRELATE TO VISIT THE NORTH HOLLYWOOD PARISH
ON NEW SUNDAY
Sunday, April 7, 2013, is the first Sunday after Easter, which is also known as New Sunday or Second Easter.
On this day, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will visit the North Hollywood Parish where he will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon. The church is located at 13050 Vanowen Street.
The Prelate and Religious Council have dedicated New Sunday to our Armenian children. Thus, on this day, Sunday School students will participate in Divine Liturgy at their local Churches.

CONSECRATION OF ST. GARABED CHURCH OF LAS VEGAS
The Prelate, Religious and Executive Councils, St. Garabed Church Pastor and Parish Council joyfully announce the consecration of St. Garabed Church of Las Vegas.
The ceremony will being on Saturday, April 13, with the Opening of the Portals service and consecration of the Baptismal Font and Trinity Altar conducted by the Prelate. The service begins at 7:00 p.m. and a reception will follow in the Church hall.
The Consecration and Dedication of the Church will be conducted by the Prelate on Sunday, April 14 during Holy High Mass.

The official procession begins at 10:30 a.m.
A celebratory banquet hosted by Parish Council Chair Mr. Adroushan Armenian will follow at the Tropicana Hotel.

ARS-WR ANNUAL GALA
On Friday, April 5, the Armenian Relief Society Western USA annual gala will be held at the Glendale Hilton. The banquet is organized by the ARS-WR Regional Executive to celebrate the region’s activities and programs of the past year.
The Prelate will attend and convey his congratulatory remarks.
On Sunday, April 7, ARS Day will be celebrated at First Baptist Church of Glendale with a special program featuring the Glendale Chamber Orchestra conducted by Maestro Michael Avedissian. Rev. Fr. Vazken Atmajian will represent the Prelate.

ANC WEST SAN FERNANDO VALLEY INAUGURAL BANQUET
On Sunday, April 7, the inaugural banquet of the Armenian National Committee of America West San Fernando Valley Chapter will take place at the Sheraton Universal with the attendance of elected officials, community leaders, and supporters.
Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian will be honored with the Public Service Award and longtime community activist Armand Keosian with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Prelate will present Mr. Keosian with a letter of blessing and commendation on this occasion.
