PRAYERS FOR ARMENIAN BONE MARROW DONOR REGISTRY
– PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT ST. SARKIS CHURCH IN PASADENA
On Sunday, April 10, 2016, known as Green Sunday or Sunday of the World Church, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at St. Sarkis Church in Pasadena, during which he will also convey his blessings and commendation to the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, its President Dr. Frieda Jordan and members, for their dedicated service.
By the request of the ABMDR and the ordinance of the Prelate, each year a day is designated for special prayers to be offered in all Prelacy Churches for members and patients of the ABMDR. This year’s prayer service will be held on April 10. Members of the organization will be on hand at St. Sarkis Church to provide information on the ABMDR’s life-saving mission.
May God bless the members and volunteers of the ABMDR for their commitment to the vital cause and may He grant the gift of healing to the infirm.

“ARMENIA: AN OPEN WOUND” EXHIBIT OPENING CEREMONY
On Saturday, April 16, an exhibition titled “Armenia: An Open Wound,” will open at Brand Library and Art Center (1601 W. Mountain St, Glendale). The exhibit, curated by the Museo Memoria y Tolerancia (Museum of Memory and Tolerance) in Mexico City, is the initiative of the City of Glendale Library, Arts, and Culture Department, in partnership with the Armenian American Museum. The opening ceremony will take place from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. The exhibit will run until June 11 during the library’s regular hours.
