PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT HOLY MARTYRS CHURCH IN ENCINO

The legacy of St. Stephen will be commemorated during Divine Liturgy in Prelacy Churches on Sunday, December 27. H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino, in which he will pay tribute to the life and martyrdom of St. Stephen.
Following Divine Liturgy the Prelate will preside over requiem service, during which prayers will be offered for the soul of benefactor Dr. Harut Barsamian on the 40th day of his passing.

CHRISTMAS SERVICE AT ARARAT HOME
In celebration of the New Year and Christmas, on Tuesday, December 29, the Prelate and clergy members will visit Ararat Home in Mission Hills to spread Christmas tidings and cheer to the administrators and elderly residents.
The day will begin with the blessing of water at the Skilled Nursing Facility and will continue with morning service and blessing of water at the Sheen Memorial Chapel. The visit will conclude with lunch hosted by the Administration.

NEW YEAR’S DAY PRAYER SERVICE IN PRELACY CHURCHES
For the past few years it has become a wonderful tradition for Prelacy Churches to open their doors on New Year’s Day to give our faithful the opportunity to begin the New Year with prayer. In keeping with this tradition, on Friday, January 1, 2016, a prayer service will be held in all Prelacy Churches. Please contact your local parish for service time.
